"flips" works, so does "Lunar IPS". The .ips format is a way to distribute ONLY the changes to a ROM without distributing the ROM itself, which in nearly every case is illegal. Here's a link to Lunar IPS:

Sadly we cannot legally provide you a .nes rom. But I can help you figure out how to patch the rom. In order to patch a rom you need a program named "flips". Then you need to locate you unmodified smb3 rom. From there you will want to open flips an apply the patch and it will ask for the patch and rom. If all goes well you will have the rom. Sorry for the short reply, I'm in bfe on my phone xD

Any chance we can get this rom as a .nes file so we can play it on everdrive? Has anyone here converted the file type by chance? I'm kinda illiterate when it comes to this stuff LUL.
